Surprise Package

So I got a call from my aunt Jill one day reminding me to check my mail. WARNING: If anyone ever sends me something make sure they tell me to be on the lookout since I never check my mail. So anyways I checked my mail and sure enough I had a package waiting for me. I opened it up only to see this fabulous zebra letter "S". It is so cute and I love it!! Jill had been at a model home furniture sale and saw it in one of the bedrooms and she thought of me. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU again, Jill. You are so kind, thoughtful, and great...the list can go on.
I love you!!!

Brianhead

This weekend was a 3 day weekend in memory of Martin Luther King. BYU actually gave us a day off...how kind. We took this long weekend to our full advantage and Michele and I went to her cabin in Brian Head. Her family came down from Vegas as well so it was a full house. It was so nice to just get away from Provo and relax. All we basically did was eat, sleep, talk, play games, and repeat! I wish I took more pictures than I did, but I am glad at the last minute Meesh and I decided to run outside and take a few.

Natalie's Brithday

January 10th!!!
That is the day in which we celebrated the birthday of Natalie Ann Quinn. It gave us a great excuse to go out to dinner. With the request of Natalie we enjoyed some great pizza at California Pizza Kitchen. The chefs in Provo pulled through yet again and were able to make me my Southwestern Chicken Burrito Pizza! YUM!!! Hope you had a great birthday Natalie.

80's Night

Provo is full of dance parties and many of which are 80's. We love it!!! I have gone to a bunch of 80s dance parties and it is so fun. Provo led us to no shame as UVU kicked off their semester with 80's night. Beginning of Winter Semester

I realize why they call this semester "Winter Semester". It is a freakin blizzard outside. It hasn't stopped snowing since yesterday morning. There is SO much snow. I am scared for my life walking around campus in fear of slipping. My boots have no traction. I have also come to realize that Provo is terrible at plowing the main roads. It is a disaster. But I do have to admit it is kinda fun having the snow falling.

Life is great being back in Provo. My roommate from fall semester moved out so I have the whole room to myself. It is so nice...I absolutely love it. I am hardly ever there and when I am it is just nice to spread out. I reorganized my closet and moved a lot of my stuff into the other closet.

Classes have gone well so far. I have LDS Marriage and Family, Music 101, Physical Science, Language Science, and Mission Prep. I think I am really going to like my marriage and family class. Don't know how I feel about Music 101 yet. I am going to hate physical science. I feel as though it is going to be like my bio class last semester. Don't think I am going to particularly enjoy my language science class. It is all about grammar and sentence structure. How that relates to speech pathology...I do not know. It is a two hour class and I was falling asleep the first day and we got out 40 minutes early! I am pretty sure I will like mission prep. These opinions could totally change, but for the first 2 days of the semester I am happy. I love the beginning of semesters because there is hardly any homework. It is great!!!

Life is good... :)

Christmas Break 2008

Well my Christmas Break is over. I head back to Provo tomorrow morning. I have loved being home. I am ready to go back to school, but I never got bored once being home. I hardly took any pictures though...my mistake. It was great to spend time with family and friends. I look forward to coming back home in April..even though I will probably get bored being home until August. :)
