{Bike Riding}

So last night I decided to go for a bike ride. So I took Parker's bike out for a spin. I loved it. I had no where to go, so I just cruised. It was a beautiful night out. After I got home, mom and I went and tracked how far I went. And I biked for 7 miles. I thought that was pretty good for just going out spur of the moment. I wonder how many calories it burned... Anyways I think it would be so fun to have a bike up in P-Town during the spring and summer to just cruise around in. I dont think I am one for mountain biking hard core up Provo Canyon, but I could see myself rocking a fun beach cruiser.

{The Bachelorette}

Another season of The Bachelorette has come and gone. Last season with Jason, I was able to watch it every Monday with Whit, Cart, Meesh, and Natalie. It was so fun. Well this summer I only have Natalie and it was so fun watching it with her every week. We never missed an episode. Now on to the show. This season was not one of my favorites. I loved Jillian, but her selection of males did not live up. I think with a better selection it would have been better. Main highlights of the season included...great date with Jake, Ed leaving and then coming back, jerk face Wes, loving Kiptyn, and so much more. Unfortunately Jillian, in my opinion, chose the wrong man. She chose Ed leaving Kiptyn heartbroken. I do not believe her and Ed will last...Ed will get wrapped up in his career leaving Jillian in the dust.
Throughout the whole entire After the Rose Ceremony show I was waiting to hear who was going to be the next Bachelor and Chris never made the announcement. Now I am forced to sit here in wonder as to who the next man is going to be and when it will air.
Until next time...Who she should have picked...Who she did pick...

Food for Thought

So I have seen other people's blogs and they are so much cooler than mine. All I blog about is when something fun and exciting happens in my life which is good and I actually enjoy doing it. So I am going to maybe and attempt at being a better blogger...who knows how long it will last but its worth a shot. Here's a quote that I found and I liked it:

"For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness, For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people, For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry, For Beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day, For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others."
-Audrey Hepburn

Even though Audrey said it much more eloquently than me...I say go out this week and see what you can do to help others and as you do realize how much of a greater person you and others can become through your service.

Happy Birthday!!!

Yesterday we celebrated my mom's birthday. Sunday birthday's aren't always the funnest, but I still hope my mom had a nice day. She was given breakfast in bed with her cards and gifts and then we went to church. I went to the home ward today. Then for dinner we went to the Quinns for a delicious meal. We were able to all sit around and relax afterwards as we waited for the homemade ice cream. That was the icing on the cake....very very good ice cream. YUM YUM!!!
Hope you had a great day Mom. You deserve it. Thanks for everything!

4th of July

The limited amount of people who read my blog probably already know that the 4th is one of my top favorite holidays. It is a random holiday to be named a favorite but there are so many great things about the day. Some of those include grandmas birthday, summertime, bbqs, fireworks, being outside and many more. This 4th of July we headed to Lake Michigan for some fun in the sun. It was a great feeling to be back riding the jet skis. I love them. This year was my first time camping overnight there. It was fun but I am glad it was for only one night. Every time I go outside I get eaten alive by the bugs and they were not afraid of me this trip. 15 or so bug bites on one thigh. Not cool...but the rest of the trip was very enjoyable.
