Finished My Freshman Year

I no longer have to feel stupid telling people I am a freshman and live in the dorms.

Freshman year is over!!

It has been an amazing year...I have learned so much and met so many amazing people. I have seriously found the greatest friends out there. We have had some crazy fun times and everything was well worth it. All those late nights and hours of lost sleep were all worth it and I wouldn't change it. BYU is a great university and has provided me with many opportunities to learn and grow academically as well as spiritually. I can't picture myself going to any other school. I am looking forward to going home for the summer and taking a break, but more than anything I want to stay here in Provo with my friends. It is very bittersweet.

PINK Party

Definition of Friday Night=Funnest Dance Party Ever!!!

Provo is known to host a plethora of dance parties and there were quite a few last night. We had many options to choose from and we decided to go to Alpine and hit up the PINK party in support of breast cancer. Whitney and I went to Zupas for dinner while Carson was diligently studying with a friend for her final. Afterwards we were just sitting around watching the clock tick when I got the idea that we should wear some tall tee's or something. So without hesitation we were off to Gen X (getto getto sketch ganster store). As we walked in (feeling awkward and embarassed that we are actually going to this store) we see Charles. He had the same idea that we had!! Then Jimmer and LaMont came as well. In the end we all got shirts that were even personalized. Then we went to the party....lots of people, lame music (all techo), Jimmer and Charles=amazing, so fun!!!!! I freakin LOVE Jimmer and Charles. Without them there I would not have had as much fun!!!! It was a great final Friday of the year.

Happy Birthday Whitney!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Whitmer's 19th birthday. We woke up and went to Legends for breakfast, then went back to her room and she opened her gift I got her. Then we went and got Jimmer and Charles their favorite cookies and went over to their place. We were just hanging out and then the music broke out. I was able to master the Jerk and Carson was able to catch on quickly since she missed learning it the night before. Charles and Jimmer are such good dancers. They know how to break it down. Maybe their basketball talents help them with their dance moves. I absolutely love hanging out with them...favorite people ever! Looking forward to tonight as we hit up some dance parties with them.
Then we studied for finals and then met up again to go to Salt Lake where we went to Spencer's Steakhouse. Whit's parents flew in for the day and took us out to dinner. It was divine. My steak was so good with the yummy garlic mashed potatoes to top it off. After we got back it was once again studying time. Hope you had a great birthday Whitney!!!!

Easter

I did not have a typical Easter this year, but that was fine. I missed some divine cheesy potatoes. It was still a good day. I went to Whitmer and Carton's ward and we brought our posse with us. We walked into sac. like 5 minutes late (blame the boys) and everyone was staring at us as Whit, Cars, and I walked in only to have 5 guys follow us in. We proceeded to the back row and filled it (not quite but there was a lot of us). It was quite funny. Michele prepared the Easter program and she did a great job. The musical numbers were very nice. Then the rest of the day I just relaxed, slept, and watched Grease. Thanks for the DVD Mom!
After church we felt the need to have an Easter picture taken. Why it was taken like this I do not know but I love these boys and obviously love Whitmer and Carton so much so its fun.

Up and Coming: Whitney's birthday, last weekend, saying goodbye to everyone, and finals! Fun week ahead!!!
